Netscape 4.x web site
A basic spam filtering example.

Assumptions:
That you have a fresh install of Netscape, or that you have no email filters in operation. Or that you will be capable of adapting your present setup.

Step 1:
Create a new folder for emails. This could be "New" or "I have Mail" whatever. This can be a sub folder of "Inbox" or it's own folder. I use right click on left pane to bring up the popup menu.
Also you can name this "Spam" and there is a adjustment in Step 5.
Step 2:
Enter the name of your email folder location. This is where your new email will go.
Step 3:
Find in the "Edit" menu the "Message Filters" option.
Step 4:
This brings up the "Message Filters" window. Select "New" and go to step 5.
Step 5:
In this window, name your filter. "All Mail" was my choice, then in the pull down box after "the" select "to or cc" . Then in the text field next to "contains" enter your email address. After that you need to select the foler to move the emails to. Hit OK.

If you named your folder "Spam" earlier, all you need to do here, is change the pulldown box option that has "contains" to "does not contain", this will reverse where the email ends up. Normally regular mail will end up in your "New" folder while spam stays in your inbox. This switches that.
Step 6:
You should then see your filter inside the "Message Filters" window.

You will want to add more filters for your BCC'ed email lists and etc.
